Training Rides & Board
Rides:
ZJE is proud to offer training rides for owners who are looking for regular education for their horse or are looking to add "buttons" to their equine partner. We do NOT offer saddle breaking or colt starting. However, we do have lots of experience (& a love for) restarting off the track thoroughbreds for whatever their post-racing career may be! Of course, your horse doesn't have to be a thoroughbred for us to have them join our program, we have experience with ponies, draft crosses, warmbloods and many more as well. Onsite training rides are $60 per hour long session. If you are unable to attend your horse's ride (with prior approval), grooming, tacking & untacking/aftercare will be included in that 60 minutes allotted for your horse's ride. Minimum requirements for a horse to join our training program is that the horse is "green broke."
Board:
Looking for more of a "Board & Train" program? We've got you covered there too! Our training board packages are broken down into a truly customizable package. The price is dependent on your wants/needs/goals for the horse as well as which boarding type you would prefer for your horse to be on (Stall or Private Stall-see boarding page for info). Below are the monthly rates atop of the selected board type for full training clients based on the number of training sessions scheduled weekly:
- 2x weekly +$400/month
-3x weekly +$600/month
-4x weekly +$800/month
-5x weekly +$1000/month

The goal in any of our training programs is that the horse has a positive learning experience while developing into the horse best suited for their rider.
