Briny

"Brin There Done That ZJE"

2022, 16+ hand, bay OTTB mare

Retired from the track in February '25 and adopted by ZJE from Second Stride in March '25. Briny is my personal horse who I intend to continuing developing into a performance hunter for myself so I will be pickier with her leaser.

She has shown at local, C rated, and TIP shows as a hunter and excels in the show pen. She is a phenomenal partner and sincerely a joy to flat and hack around in the under saddle classes. She is a leg ride, always more whoah than go, and very handy around the course. The sweetest, most laid back mare you'll ever meet on the ground as well!

Briny's leaser is currently deployed, in the meantime, she's looking for a 1-day WEEKEND leaser.

Biggie

"The Notorious ZJE"

2022, 16.2+ hand, bay, OTTB gelding

Retired from the track in June '25 and adopted by ZJE from Second Stride in March '26. Biggie is a big, loveable, in-your-pocket gelding both on the ground and in the saddle. He's become a quick favorite in the barn and I'm sure he will continue to be! Under saddle, Biggie is a huge, suspenseful mover at all 3 gaits who is willing and unphased by anything. He definitely understands his new job in the hunter ring and is more whoah than go but not a kick ride. After being with us only 2 weeks, he made his show pen debut March 21st and handled it like a champ!

Biggie is currently looking for a 1 or 2 day leaser.

Habana

"Habana Banana ZJE"

2012, 15.2 hand, bay KWPN mare

Has plenty of experience in dressage but has taken the past few years off as a broodmare. We decided she's just too nice to sit so she's back undersaddle and is a joy to ride. She's a bit more whoah than go but truly enjoys the job. She's currently building muscle and stamina in a flat only/poles setting.

***Habana's workload will begin tapering off at the beginning of April as she enters full maternity leave in May***

Cathkin

"Call Me Cathy ZJE"

2018, 16.1 hand, bay OTTB gelding

Retired from the track in December '25 and adopted by ZJE from Second Stride in March '26. Cathkin is a gem on the ground and a fantastic partner under saddle. Despite having 24 starts and earning over $512,000 on the track, he is incredibly balanced in both directions and soft in the hand. Not excessively lazy but definitely not forward, he's a comfortable and easy ride. He's been adjusting to life off the track incredibly well and has enjoyed his new, laid back lifestyle in addition to his second career.

Vegas

"Sin City ZJE"

2022, 16.1+ hand, chestnut OTTB gelding

Retired from the track in August '25 and adopted by ZJE from Second Stride in November '25. He's been teaching lessons to new, adult students since December '25 and is adored by everyone he meets! Vegas is a very laid back guy with a big, comfortable step. His big, lofty gaits and brilliant personality make him easy to love and so much fun to ride. He's a delight to show and ride off property!

Vegas is looking for a 1 or 2 day leaser at this time.

Pumpkin

"Pumpkin Spice Latte ZJE"

2022, 16.3+ hand, chestnut OTTB mare

Retired from the track in March '25 and adopted by ZJE from Second Stride in August '25. She has been a barn favorite since she arrived and has shown in the locally rated hunter ring and excelled. Her previous half leaser started her in dressage as well as eventing and she seems to do well in the sandbox or out on the XC course too! Pumpkin is definitely the most forward of our horses but is by no means a handful or unsafe. She sincerely enjoys working and would be an excellent choice for someone looking to bring a young horse up the ranks to excel in the show pen.
